The highly anticipated Clubhouse, a 15,000 square-foot coastal playground for active adults within Del Webb at Grande Dunes Myrtle Beach, will celebrate its grand opening Friday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Situated on the ocean side of the Intracoastal Waterway at 1150 62nd Avenue North, the Clubhouse is flush with amenities and activities to keep Baby Boomers busy from morning to night. It features a staffed state-of-the-art workout facility, indoor and outside swimming pools and tennis, pickleball and bocce courts, as well as a fulltime lifestyle director.
The grand opening celebration includes an 11 a.m. ribbon cutting, music and refreshments. The public is invited to visit the multi-million-dollar facility and tour four professionally decorated model homes and the neighborhood, tucked within the master-planned Grand Dunes community.
“As the heart and hub of the community, residents will come here to pick up a new hobby, join a water aerobics class, cut loose on the dance floor or compete for bragging rights in pickleball,” said General Sales Manager Amber Paris. “Del Webb has a rich history of bringing the 55-plus set what they want to maintain a busy and full lifestyle — and this impressive Clubhouse delivers on all cylinders.” Excitement has been building even before the first residents began to move in this summer, Paris said.
Seven floor plans are being offered at Del Webb at Grande Dunes Myrtle Beach, with two-to-five bedrooms and two-to-four baths. Ranging in size from 1,600 square feet to over 2,500 square feet, home prices start at $314,990. When complete, the gated community will total 637 single-family homes.
The community also features a Day Dock for mooring boats. Del Webb residents additionally may use the Grande Dunes’ Ocean Club with beach access, as well as existing amenities and miles of walking trails. They may also choose to use the tennis club, two golf courses and the marina, all located within Grande Dunes, which sits at the epicenter of the Grand Strand, allowing easy access to beaches, shopping, restaurants, golfing, healthcare, evening entertainment, and endless recreational options.
