Art in the Park (AITP) is the Grand Strand’s premier outdoor show and sale, hosted by the Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild. Since 1972, Art in the Park has hosted artists from all over the country working in a variety of mediums. Artists are required to submit original works or reproductions of their original works. Art in the Park, Myrtle Beach, SC is a preferred destination for artists and art lovers. There is something for everyone at Art in the Park.

Conway Downtown Alive presents the Conway Ghost Walk - Professional storytellers weave tales of lowcountry haints through the shadowy streets in Downtown Conway. Tours begin each evening at 6:30 PM and leave the box office every 15 minutes until 8:30 PM. The storytelling tour is 75 minutes and the tour route is approximately 1.0 mile. This Halloween event features storytellers sharing tales that are always spooky, sometimes humorous, and guaranteed to become part of your family's Halloween tradition.

40th Annual Loris Bog-Off Festival

Main Street, Loris, SC

The Loris Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Loris Bog-Off Festival each year on the third Saturday in October in downtown Loris. Chicken bog generally consists of chicken, rice, sausage, and spices of your choice. If you chose not to create your own pot of chicken bog, the Jamestown Chefs are on-site to provide plates of the southern cuisine at a reasonable price. The festival includes 200 vendors, two stages of entertainment, and a huge children’s area. The stage performances include local dance schools, school choruses, and local bands. The festival ends with a fireworks extravaganza and a free concert from a national act.
